Scabbard used to be assigned to Base Commander Sargodha at one time.

Urdu, English or Swahili call signs are pretty much irrelevant. What matters is up to date and stringent training standards merged with decent equipment. With that it doesn’t matter if the pilot was called kodu and his flight is Faltu-1 and faltu-2 - they will still succeed.

While these are part of culture and mostly service camaderie - it is up to the servicemen to determine their ethos rather than objections(not referring to you but in general) by armchair generals

Bro we all know that but it's part of the fun being a pilot and how they get their call signs. Also what's the harm in discussing this? You suddenly went all serious. Surely this is not a taboo subject??

In 2017, Pakistan Aeronautical Complex announced first successful integration of indigenous weapon on JF-17 using locally coded Weapons Management Mission Computer.
Since then PAC engineers have never looked back & integrated a bulk of weapon stores & avionics on all versions of JF-17...

JF-17 Thunder from No. 14 MRS during Ex Spears of Victory 2022 in KSA . In first week of February, we will again witness the 3rd edition of this exercise. PAF regularly gives exposure to its air crew by participating in aerial exercises having Large Force Employments.
