Kudos to PAF to come up with this plane despite all odds be them financial or western restrictions.

Imagine if this plane had not materialized. Instead of 148 Jf17s and counting, A dozen or two F16s sitting somewhere in storage along with the 20 AH1Zs and hardly any money to buy European planes.

I am not into using sources that I can't name But from what I know is that block 3s would play havoc when in numbers. (You are welcome to discard third paragraph... ).
