Unrelated but I have a request for you.. Please perma ban anyone who even says the word "J-15" ever again,
DoubtAccording to Alan Warnes after speaking with the Air Chief, the 3000 number on Block-3 represents a large number of sales to other nations.
You realise the gear will compress as more weight is put on it right? The plane has barely touched down, thus the gear is at its maximum extension, as the plane puts more weight on the gear, it’ll compress and go back to normal height…Interesting...
Compare the fuel tank clearance relative from the ground.
Blk 2 is yet to touch down. Notice fuel tank clearance, height of landing gear struts.

Blk 3 has just touched down, yet the landing gear shows higher ground clearance. Landing gear struts look longer.

Doubt it, it’s been present since block 2’s, nothing was changed wrt sensors aside from the radar afaik. Might just be something to do with the extra composite content present in the aircraft, especially on the stabsWhat do y'all think this could be? A sensor embedded in the horizontal stabilizer? Also note the grey area that extends from there towards the body. Could it be an emitter of some sort?
Angles. To me it seems nose cone diameter is comparatively bigger.
You are probably true, lets hear from some knowledgeable people, anxiously waiting.Angles.
people need to stop making something out of nothing. First we have a bigger inlet, then we have a longer landing gear, then a canted radar and now a bigger nose.
it’s literally just the angle or in the case of the gear, a lack of load on it.

Yes, I was thinking the same.Static discharge tube.
Could you please find me this feature in Block-2? I do not recall having seen it anywhere before.Doubt it, it’s been present since block 2’s, nothing was changed wrt sensors aside from the radar afaik. I've never noticed it before. I am getting old, but still...Static discharge tube.
The grey cover in front of the static charge is what?Static discharge tube.
