Yes for valid reason i can understand in case of emergencies its always open and govt do that for an reason.About jet airways they were also in trouble before it may be it become last straw for them .Going to check who owns it/majority share holder as they way Modi govt jump to rescue it kahin iss main bhi AMbani connection na hu also election angle is there

there is no political or ambani connection. Jet airways has been troubled for quite sometime now and its woes arent related to Pak space closure, which is nothing more that a nuisance.

And as to why Govt. is jumping to rescue, well govt. didnt as there some laws were brought in by RBI last year to tackle such situations.
Govt is just taking stock of this situation. Closure of a major company of any country is troublesome and should be avoided by reviving the company.
