gripen will not last long if used in asian space because here most countries have very good sam system and fighter jets to counter gripen but gripen is better than mirage 2000

I would not be so hasty in putting this baby down. I have a friend who is ExRAF Pilot now a Surgeon in the making. He says that the only plane that gives the EF a run for the money in EU is Gripen. Given its size it is difficult to locate and allied with the AEWAC system, it is a silent killer. Its got a decent airwarfare suite.
As to 5th generation missiles, well even the best planes will have a difficult time avoiding them once in the missile kill zone. At the outskirts of its range they will always have a chance.
