Tail-less design? Cool. By the way the name "心神" is very zen, interesting!

I will not give credit until you prove just as nobody gave us credit until we proved it. I'm not a cheerleader and an asskisser. Again, don't expect people to hand you a trophy without playing in the game.
Your approval is next to worthless, pal.

But if personal experience have any value, then I say to Japan: Go For Broke.

The Japanese can do it and they are going to make theirs just as good, if not better than the J-20.

It looks to be a well designed frame with stealth features. The relatively longer nose might also reflect concerns about engine power.

Didn't know that the japanese plane could burst some pakfa fans into their gpoint of mastuubation...8-)

why is this Chinese talking crap when it's 5th gen fighter is based off of stolen information for the F-35 and Russia planes.

let's be honest Japan can't compete with China, but they can do their best.

I take it as high expectation and that means we must double , triple our efforts to deliver. What is evident, my friend @Sanchez , is that as of recent years (2012 onwards) Japan has taken up the reigns in being a military arms exporter. I admit that we have entered the game late due to the restrictive policies that had been unfortunately leveled on Japan by the United States through anti-historical initiatives set in place in our post war constitution, which had forbade Japanese arms exports, Japanese co-development of military projects with any other power besides the United States. In light of these exigent policies, Japan had removed these inhibitive clauses just the summer of 2015. The paradigm shift is from an arms importer to being an arms producer and arms exporter, and ultimately the goal of being independent in context to weapons munition, weapons logistics. I suppose the penultimate aspiration for Japan is to be like the People's Republic of China in context to military production and military independence --- and that speaks volume for China in context to the Japanese national psyche and national development paradigm --- that we hold China's position in terms of national solidarity at high bar.

Regards.

no it's true  but it doesn't matter anyway.

sorta looks like a stealthy/sleek looking F-5E iwith a V tail

Well if we used the same judgement standard imposed on Chinese aircraft designs by others, then yes if it looks similar in appearance it is definitely a knockoff-copy/paste-counterfeit version of X model.

what are those two humps on F3E back behind the canopy ?

They are what we refer to as DCE, dual cycle engine. The importance of having an adaptive cycle engine is to deliver higher thrust, increase fuel efficiency (decrease consumption), and ultimately increases the range and strike distance ability.Anyways the F3E will be a naval-based strike fighter , she will be the "spear" of Japan's Type 90 Supercarrier. From the look of her as well, she will have a higher tonnage meaning she will function as a strategic bomber / strike fighter.

Why stop at the J-20, it will even be superior to the American F-22 and F-35 easily!
