Yes, i think it is in the works. In fact earlier this year, your Admiral Mannhardt had met with our Admiral Yamashita on fleet exercise objectives. I think there was also talks of JMSDF-Kriegesmarine officer exchange program(s). That is a start !

Rear Admiral Juergen Mannhardt came to Japan for Navy to Navy Talks between Germany and Japan and visited the college as one of study trips to JMSDF facilties.
Rear Admiral Mannhardt received a briefing about MCSC. Then, he greeted Vice Admiral Kazuki Yamashita, President of MCSC. Rear Admiral Mannhardt was interested in education for JMSDF officers. We spent meaningful time to enhance our friendship through the briefing.
