A pair of Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) Lockheed P-3 Orion aircraft arrived at PNS Mehran Naval Air Station in Karachi for joint exercise with Pakistan Navy.

So USAF in Jacobabad, Japanese in Mehran.....
I wonder if there's a US Carrier anchored in the vicinity of the Karachi coast.....!!!!

their navy has visited many times

The P1 would make an excellent replacement for the P-3 platform. Given the strategic nature of the Indian/Japanese relationship against China, I would place any bets on the P1 in the PN Service.

Yep, but it's odd enough that the Japanese would attend AMAN as consistently as they are. In fact their presence this time around is bigger than it was last time.

Wouldn’t count on it, but I do see the possibility of it being brought up; even though the budget for it is fiction for now.
