What's new

Japanese/Korean/Chinese/Indonesian and other Far East Movies on Netflix

Indonesia Horor Movie

Ivanna (2022)
Sebelum Iblis Menjemput (2018)

Indonesia Action Movie

The Night Comes For Us (2018)
(Iko Uwais) The Raid VS Sub Zero (Joe Taslim)

New anime based on China history:

Seems to be about a poison-tasting girl, but I'm kinda confused about the era, the castle looks very Forbidden City-y, but the clothes seem to be Warring states period.
Could be a "generic" ahistorical ancient China setting.

Suzume is finally showing in Vietnam.
And this one is totally awesome, I think it beats Your Name.

Elusive Samurai is getting anime:

I freaking love this manga, one of the GOAT historical warfare manga recently.

Just watch this in Netflix Yesterday night, not bad

Chinese movie

Japan movie, fight scene only

LOL they are making a Paripi Komei/Ya Boi Kongming live action!
This show is about Zhuge Liang from ROTK waking up in modern Japan and helping idols.

The OP was sick:

Would be interesting to see how this plays out in live action.

Bruh, a new large scale samurai battle film, been waiting for this since Sekigahara (2017).

And it's by Takeshi Kitano to boot, waiting warmly.

New Japanese series about murder mystery in western fairy tales setting, starring Kanna Hashimoto!!

God, I can't wait till the woke crowd swarms this for looking more classic Disney than actual modern Disney.

Japanese Movie, Japanese players but Chinese story
