Not even Bhutan want to be India ally if they're not been arm twisted by India. they like to claim to form some kind of informal alliance with US, Japan or even Vietnam...but the reality is that these nations have more trade with China then the irrelevant India...but they still like to brag as they're very important.

I think China and the rest of South Asian nations (exclude India) to form a new organization to replace SAARC, India is irrelevant in this organization anyway, Pakistan should take the lead, with China OBOR, we can massive invest and help South Asian nations on their economy and Infrastructure project which India is not capable to offer.
And South Asian nations shall be as prosper as ASEAN.
