They made this announcement right after Abe's visit to Qatar. The Qataris probably persuaded them after Japan signed several agreements on natural gas.

But America already has support in the relevant bodies- the Arab league and the European Union- what they want is military backing for strikes and not verbal support.

Why is it that US always intervene. They say they don't interfere with a nations domestic problems, then later on, they intervene. The US needs to stop poking their big nose at other nations.

Although I am against Syria, Russia needs to back up Syria, so the Americans don't intervene.

As for China, they need to send weapons to Syria. If China does not want to be in direct conflict, then Iran can send the Chinese weapons to Syria.
