The first time I heard the second website get banned, at frist I was like "it can't be" then immediately it struck me, that Zardari saw an opportunity and he took it. This only confirms my belief. ARY has already started cow-towing the government line.

The workers of little known Sindh National Party (SNP) have surrounded the offices of Geo and Jang at the behest of government, Geo News reported Sunday.

They are staging a sit-in before the offices of Geo and Jang.

On the other hand, the provincial government has not taken any serious step to end the siege continuing for the last eight to 10 hours.

Earlier, they barged into the Geo office and went on rampage. They also subjected a policeman to torture when he tried to stop the protestors from entering Geo office.

Police baton charged the protestors and tried to disperse them by using teargas. However, they staged a sit-in instead of leaving the office.

Speaking to Geo News, Muttahida Qaumi Movement leader Faisal Sabzwari condemned the siege and urged the provincial government to take immediate steps for dispersing the demonstrators.

Sindh Taraqqi Pasand Party (STPP) Qadir Magsi said it seems the group has the support of government.

PML-N leader Pervez Rashid termed the incident the darkest day. He said that incident shows media is not free in Pakistan.

“I will move a privilege motion against the siege in the next session,” he said.

Remember the day when Geo Tv first show down the house of Ajmal Kasab in Pakistan and interviewed his parents to confirm that Ajmal Kasab was a Pakistani. On whose instructions Geo did this?
Geo in the name of Aman Ki Asha organized program headed by Indian embassy people, Why?
Geo TV is waging war against the elected government with an agenda of Zionist to malign Pakistan, its statbility, and bad governess. They are leashing out propaganda against the democratically elected parliament to show that Pakistan cannot be taken on the right rail road. Ansar abassi's sympathy with TTP, Shahid Masood sympathy with Taliban, Irfan Hussain sympathy with Indian media and Shaheen Sehbai actions in favour of American policies directed against the Pak Armed Forces are enough proof that Geo is on a mission to malign Pakistan.
While watching Geo one can feel that tomorrow morning there shall be a change in the government but this is not so.
Geo is propagating dissemination effecting interest of Pakistan.Watch closely and than decide.

I am not a supporter of Geo TV & I simply hate them b/c of their too much ant-Pakistan bashing ... they are like Imran khan who Cries on everything ..

But the way PPP is doing things I hate them also ... this is not a democratic way to do things like this .

Despite the fact that I am anti Geo TV, anti Hamid Mir and anti all bigots and biased reporters. I am for the freedom of speech and one’s right to air his/her views without fear.

Therefore I find intimidation of Geo Group offices shameful. I would prefer that GOP arrests Geo management and try them for false reporting or for treason in an open court. But to use thuggery against civil population is a tactic normally employed by religious extremist parties, not by civilized people.
