Why need another trial? did they found new evidence? Already convicted and one thing to do is hang him and handover his body to India.

At the moment he is worth more alive than dead. This issue is a pain in India's butt as they were caught with their pants down. Only thing we need to be wary of is if the Indians try some operation to free him. Also this seems to be plan B in case the ICJ come up with a stupid verdict.
