A better one would be a trifurcation Jammu as separate state, and Ladakh as Union Territory then both these regions can grow without being weighed down

There was bit of debate on this, can't leak the group & the end result was surprising.
In the long run, trifurcation may yield worse result.

Delimitation I believe is one of the first steps to keep J&K united but address the imbalance of power.
The other steps in pipe line would address other issues that would literally make the current status of valley irrelevant.
We want to keep the Valley with us but change everything there, the steps that should (will) be taken will be towards that.

No, its got nothing to do with it.

This is reconstituting of areas for the purpose of representation, simply put they will redivide the areas for polling purpose. Areas with more population will be divided , merged with others...etc to ensure fair representation number wise.

This is necessary as the population would have changed in due course of time but the representative in assembly (local state govt) or local muncipal bodies remain same leading to overburdening of the system.

Kashmir politics is very messy..Do you know that even if Kashmir is one of the disturbed area for us...but it is one of the peaceful state election...This is because the separaist provide their support through different proxy political party...Thatvis why election in Kashmir is peaceful than that of the bengal...

Slight correction to your knowledge. GB declared independence from Kashmir and was an independent state for awhile. Then they requested to become a sort of colony of the IRP. The government agreed and thus the autonomous GB was born.
