J-20 opening it's weapon bays.

.
this plane is massive...isnt it the largest fighter jet in existence?

.
From the video the weapon bay doors opened automatically.

I think this is for when on the ground, and in flight they will open alot faster.

. .
in the recent pentagon report, they said the j-20 is a not a fighter but a long range attack aircraft to use against aircraft. carriers.

is this true?

Buddy, what kind of post is that? These doors are operated with hydralic power, and hence I don't think at flight they are going to open fast. The resistance of air at high velocity is so enormous that if a change in the structural surface at faster rate will jeopardize the flight control and so the doors will be operated at the same spped in flight.
Being a stealth plane with BVR why sould there be a fast door movement?
After all if its going to be a dog fight the external weapons will also be designed to reduce the maximum RADAR signature

AS stealth fighters don't engage in dog fights. There's a reason why the US is ordering F-35s.

People should take note at the time duration when the F-22's will dramatically increase its RCS: Less than five seconds. And depending on the aspect angle to the seeking radar when the weapons bay doors open, the seeking radar may not see that glaring weapons bay at all. This put to rest the argument that the F-22 will be 'vulnerable' when weapons bay doors opened. What make any aircraft, ship, tank, or even soldier 'vulnerable' depends on several factors but most significant are: Duration and degree of exposure inside that duration. That is why soldiers make short sprints from cover to cover. That is why slow moving ships deploy smokescreens. That is why aircrafts uses terrain or weather. These tactics reduces duration of exposure hence reduces or even eliminate 'vulnerability'.

True. It's best not to push prototypes to the limits. And it's likely the first time they've opened it.

CAC never made any attack aircraft before,it's XAC's job

I suspect the J-20 to be a multirole fighter. Therefore it can perform both jobs.
