Yep, China has been working on this type of engine for more than a decade.

After the tremendous experience with WS-10, i am sure the WS-15 engine gonna be ongoing much more smoothly.

Now the deployment of WS-15 in 2015 is not a wet dream anymore.

Actually, the J-10B prototype wasn't tested with the WS-10B engine. I don't know about later prototypes, but the first one used an Al-31.
