ITS TIME TO KILL OFF THE TEJAS PROGRAMME lets Move on

LCA is more important for IAF than anything else at the moment.
Pakistanis are right in worrying about LCA, they need not worry about MKI's, need not worry about Rafael's or any other we might buy. Its 200 plus LCA's and its variants + NLCA's that should rightly concern our neighbor in the west.

And Carry on, we will mate

India shall reverse engineer Mig-21 and reconfigure it and put it on steroid to a decent modern 4th gen which will not cost a bomb but able to mass produced of 400-500 pieces. Then you move on to produce an indigenous design.

Its a proven concept which high horse refused to admit its success and decide to go the Tejas mode which proves to be a failure. Collarborating with foreign countries prove little success becos most countries will not pass you the critical know how no matter how much you paid them. They will only give you false hope and hope to SXXk you dry while continue to make them independent on them.

IAF top brass wants the best but can we afford to have them :azn:

we have to make the most of from what we have and if somehow indian sientists working on Tejas can shave off 500 KGs (800 they say they can) then Tejas will be more faster and feul efficient which will increase its range and with AESA based Radar & EW suites it can take on anything that PAF has :sniper:

No I haven't just like your Air Force didn't got the answer which some patriotic Indians give here about Tejas
Keep update yourself
Pinning hope on India's indigenous Tejas light combat aircraft, the Indian Air Force chief, Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha, on Thursday was optimistic that the jet, developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) would would meet requirements of the force.

"Obviously, the Tejas is a very good bet because we need to go indigenous. It may not be best in the world but obviously it will meet some of our requirements," Raha told journalists after reviewing the security scenario in the northeast with commanders from the Eastern Air Command here.
