Italy to provide Rs 5.7 bln loan to Pakistan

Italy has pledged its support to Pakistan for poverty eradication and development of education sector.
Italian Ambassador Adriano Chiodi Cianfarani called on Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in Islamabad on Sunday. Both discussed matters related to bilateral relations.
The ambassador said his country believes in expanding its bilateral ties with Pakistan. He announced Italy will provide 5.7 billion rupees loan to Pakistan for the development of education and poverty reduction.

Its a good thing and i hope that every single rupee gets spent on education of the masses. That is the only way to eradicate poverty and also establish a modern state.

It is not for awaam it is for noora league & their swiss accounts just the name of Pakistan is being used. In Pakistan polititions come for loot maar the proof is how was the govt running much better & Pakistan progressing at 8% growth annually during military ruler who even had re payed alot of loans whereas during zardari & this noora Pakistan is going bankrupt after bankrupt & seeking loans after loans.

well yes I do agree with you on the part of rulers... Musharraf was best for Pakistan in my view also ..I mean I dont know what bad he did for pakistan in his rule... if you view his timeline you will find that he wanted to do his best..

All noora will do is keep taking loan after loan and not even a penny will reach common people. The worst thing is, unlike Zardari, this noora will not stop just at that, he will keep milking poor people via heavy taxes and inflation in every thing of common use..

Write amount in Euro or dollars to understand its actual value. What is interest rates and why Pakistan need this loan? IMF is giving you Billions of dollars and still taking pennies from other countries.
Italy, it self in need of each and every Euro it begs from outside world and it is giving loan to others.
I personally find this sort of small loans as legalized bribe to ruling government. There is no accountability for such a small amount in huge system like GOP. This money will come and go, no one will care and after five year next government will pay it back by taking more loans.
