Every democracy has some sort of treason law to safeguard it from bad influences. So the question is not - if you require these laws ; The question should be - how do we make sure that its not unfairly used !

But neither India nor Pakistan are True Democracies. They can go to the extent of being called Parliamentary Democracies but no further.

A True Democracy would be a full Welfare-state type, of the sort that Libya was until 2011 : Direct Democracy Socialism. Once a country has that Progressive system then there can be treason laws. Not before.

Curious ? When did this trend of spelling India as Endia start ? Have been observing this a lot with Pakistani twitteratis. Directions from ISPR ?
