Israel's policies will eventually result in attack on Iran: Cmdr.
Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari says a war on Iran "will eventually happen," warning that the attack will lead to the Israeli regimes obliteration.
"War will happen but it is not clear where and when," Jafari said on Saturday.
He reaffirmed Iran's readiness to confront any possible strike against the country, adding the stigma and cancerous tumor that is Israel seeks to wage a war against Iran but it is not known when it will happen.
The IRGC commander emphasized that they currently consider war as the only way to confront Iran but they are so stupid that their masters should stop them.
If they begin a task, it will spell their destruction and will be the end of their adventure, Jafari pointed out.
He added that the Islamic Revolution is moving hastily towards achieving its objectives, saying, This is not tolerable for them and they will one day create a war situation.
The commander noted that the Armed Forces enjoy capabilities and equipment in hardware and software fields.
Israel is stepping up threats of carrying out a unilateral strike against Irans nuclear energy facilities before the US presidential election on November 6. However, the US opposes any Israeli military action at the current juncture.
Israeli threats are based on the unsubstantiated claims that the peaceful nuclear activities of the Islamic Republic have been diverted to the acquisition of military nuclear capability.
The Iranian officials have promised a crushing response to any military strike against the country, warning that any such measure could result in a war that would spread beyond the Middle East.
On Friday, a senior Iranian commander scoffed at the enemies stepped up war rhetoric against the country, stressing Irans Army is fully prepared to give a prompt and smart response to any possible threats.
If anybody seeks to implement a threat, he will receive a crushing response from Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic who have a very rapid and strong capability, Commander of the Iranian Army's Ground Forces Brigadier General Ahmad Reza Pourdastan added.
