Call Gaza Palestine, it's a portion of Palestinian land. The conflict has been going on since the British Empire came and put Jewish Europeans on Palestinian land and gave them most of it. The Palestinians were wronged. The British had actually promised them independence like all other modern day Arab states in the region which were under colonialism. After that UK/France/US and other states were supporting Israel heavily allowing them to go on with their land grabbing through ethnic cleansing. Still are granting Israel immunity/political/military support. So this 'cycle of hate' as you call it and when it will end is something we should be asking you people. The people who are continuing this occupation and allowing it to continue.

Whereas I am more opposed to America.

And I am not mocking, when I see people cheering for America and opposing Israel at the same time, it really confuses me. Supporting America = Supporting Israel, and vice versa.

After that Israel re-armed and Arabs left positions, Israel broke the cease fire. Other than that there was never an attempt to regain Palestinian land.
