Israeli filmmaker in hiding after anti-Islam movie sparks deadly Libya, Egy

The movie was a collaboration between an Israeli Jew and Egyptian Coptic Christians. There are certain Jewish groups collaborating with Christian Coptics in spewing anti-Islamic propaganda in the US.
And there are certain groups of muslim determined to show everything the film says is spot on.

From the clip that I watched, its like a badly made porno.
Badly made porno upsets me...but never rioted over it.

I do not support or condone violence but I do believe people who knowingly endanger lives of other people by their malicious acts should be held responsible. I support freedom of speech like any American but Supreme court of the US settled long time ago that there are limits to freedom of speech. People are held responsible if they yell fire in a crowded hall maliciously ( when no fire existed) and people die because such action.

so what do you want?? a civil war in Egypt ?? you want to kill all Copts because of one who made a dumb mistake??

I am just stating a fact. What people do with that information is their responsibility. I do not support violence. I support freedom of speech with some limits and the US supreme court agrees with me.

Wrong, the Supreme Court does not agree with you. Nothing in this video can be classified as "illegal" as per the constitution, the example you gave of someone yelling "fire" is not even remotely similar to this case. No one is put into harms way as a result of this video. Trying to imply that there is some kind of similarity between the two is ridiculous.

Fourteen people died because of this movie ( 4 American dipolomats and 10 Libyan security gaurds). You need to get out of your denial mentality.

I think this conversation is over, if you think it is logical to say that the movie makers are responsible for the deaths caused by the Muslim rioters, I don't even know what to say to you other than I hope you don't watch violent movies, I wouldn't want you to blame your actions on them as well...

We can stop blaming the joooooos now.

I asked him who he thought Sam Bacile was. He said that there are about 15 people associated with the making of the film, "Nobody is anything but an active American citizen. They're from Syria, Turkey, Pakistan, they're some that are from Egypt. Some are Copts but the vast majority are Evangelical."

Actually....

Did the 'Innocence of Muslims' cast know what they were making? [Updated] | FP Passport

"The entire cast and crew are extremely upset and feel taken advantage of by the producer. We are 100% not behind this film and were grossly misled about its intent and purpose," the statement says. "We are shocked by the drastic re-writes of the script and lies that were told to all involved. We are deeply saddened by the tragedies that have occurred."

[N]early all of the names in the movie's "trailer" are overdubbed. The video is a compilation of the most clumsily overdubbed moments from what is in reality an incoherent, haphazardly-edited set of scenes. Among the overdubbed words is "Mohammed," suggesting that the footage was taken from a film about something else entirely. The footage also suggests multiple video sources — there are obvious and jarring discrepancies among actors and locations.

Cindy Lee Garcia, an actress from Bakersfield, Calif., has a small role in the Muhammed movie as a woman whose young daughter is given to Muhammed to marry. But in a phone interview this afternoon, Garcia told us she had no idea she was participating in an offensive spoof on the life of Muhammed when she answered a casting call through an agency last summer and got the part.

The script she was given was titled simply Desert Warriors.

"It was going to be a film based on how things were 2,000 years ago," Garcia said. "It wasn't based on anything to do with religion, it was just on how things were run in Egypt. There wasn't anything about Muhammed or Muslims or anything."

In the script and during the shooting, nothing indicated the controversial nature of the final product. Muhammed wasn't even called Muhammed; he was "Master George," Garcia said. The words Muhammed were dubbed over in post-production, as were essentially all other offensive references to Islam and Muhammed.

The makers of this film deceived everyone to purposely create a hateful message to incite such a response. If this was truly a political film, then your statement holds water. The actors thought they were filming something else entirely but the makers added the dubs to insult Muslims. But of course, the actors were left to take the blame for anyone seeking out the identities of those in the film.

The makers of this film are probably not Jewish but they have ties to the extremist fringe of the Egyptian Coptic Church, who has already distanced themselves from one identified person.

Yes, the trailers suggest it is made quite cheap with not so great acting.

Muslims need to get used to this. They bash every other religion and need to understand others will return the favor.

Filmmaker behind anti-Islamic movie 'not Israeli'

Steve Klein, a consultant on anti-Islam film 'Muslim Innocence' says filmmaker behind movie is using pseudonym, not Israeli and ' I doubt he's Jewish'

The man behind the anti-Muslim movie which has ignited riots throughout the Muslim world is not Jewish or Israeli, contrary to reports published in various media outlets.

A man who identified himself as a "consultant" to Sam Basile, the filmmaker behind the controversial movie on Wednesday told The Atlantic's Jeffrey Goldberg that the claims were untrue.

Steve Klein told Goldberg that "Bacile, the producer of the film, is not Israeli, and most likely not Jewish, as has been reported, and that the name is, in fact, a pseudonym."

He said he did not know "Bacile"'s real name and added that Bacile contacted him because he leads anti-Islam protests outside of mosques and schools, and because, he said, he is a Vietnam veteran and an expert on uncovering al Qaeda cells in California.

Klein told Goldberg: "After 9/11 I went out to look for terror cells in California and found them, piece of cake. Sam found out about me. The Middle East Christian and Jewish communities trust me."

When asked about Basile's true identity Klein said: "I don't know that much about him. I met him, I spoke to him for an hour. He's not Israeli, no. I can tell you this for sure, the State of Israel is not involved, Terry Jones (the radical Christian Quran-burning pastor) is not involved.

"His name is a pseudonym. All these Middle Eastern folks I work with have pseudonyms. I doubt he's Jewish. I would suspect this is a disinformation campaign."

Klein added that there were about 15 people associated with the making of the film, "Nobody is anything but an active American citizen. They're from Syria, Turkey, Pakistan, they're some that are from Egypt. Some are Copts but the vast majority are Evangelical."

'Sam Bacile, Israeli Jew,' May Actually Be Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, Coptic Christian

From the Associated Press, which previously reported that Sam Bacile was a real person, and an Israeli Jew:

The search for those behind the provocative, anti-Muslim film implicated in violent protests in Egypt and Libya led Wednesday to a California Coptic Christian convicted of financial crimes who acknowledged his role in managing and providing logistics for the production.

Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, 55, told The Associated Press in an interview outside Los Angeles that he was manager for the company that produced "Innocence of Muslims," which mocked Muslims and the prophet Muhammad and may have caused inflamed mobs that attacked U.S. missions in Egypt and Libya. He provided the first details about a shadowy production group behind the film.

Nakoula denied he directed the film and said he knew the self-described filmmaker, Sam Bacile. But the cellphone number that AP contacted Tuesday to reach the filmmaker who identified himself as Sam Bacile traced to the same address near Los Angeles where AP found Nakoula. Federal court papers said Nakoula's aliases included Nicola Bacily, Erwin Salameh and others...

Nakoula denied he had posed as Bacile. During a conversation outside his home, he offered his driver's license to show his identity but kept his thumb over his middle name, Basseley. Records checks by the AP subsequently found it and other connections to the Bacile persona.

So, if this is true, then a group of Christians, or at least one Christian, eager to slander Muslims have endangered Jews. How so? The story that "Sam Bacile" is an Israeli Jew, with "100 Jewish donors," has spread across the Middle East. It is not possible to withdraw such a story. The onus for violence is on the people who commit violence, of course. But if true, this fiction that the anti-Muhammad movie was a Jewish production is cowardly and despicable. Alas, "Sam Bacile" could not have spread the apparent fiction that Jews were behind this film without the help of the Associated Press and The Wall Street Journal, which both reported, without independently checking, "Sam Bacile"s claim to be Israeli.

Someone tried to frame Jews in this one it is despicable I am not usually one to promote conspiracy theories but this is a must see.

Sociopathic Mitt Romney Smiles During and After Presser on Embassy Tragedies

That Bastard Romney is so smug I would not be surprised if he financed the whole thing just to put Obama into the situation he finds himself in.

Why blame the Jews when they had nothing to do with this?? It is obvious the Coptic christian blamed Jews to protect backlash against his own people. Who financed this Copt is the real question.
