Iran did virtually nothing against ISIS. All their attacks are directed against the rebels from Qusair 2013 to recent attack on rebels Homs.

In Damascus ISIS controls only 1 neighborhood, in Deir ez Zore less than half. Both were attacked only after ISIS was virtually defeated by the US. Iran and Russia did nothing against ISIS when it was on peak of power, on contrary they provided them air cover, weapons and people.
