Intel cooperation does not verify nor weighs an argument to have strategical & diplomatic ties. Pakistan's approach towards Israel is linked with Palestine so what other does or have relations, aren't our concern but our fundamental stance. Having said that intel cooperation; Pakistan India also cooperates so does it lowers the hostility from cross the border? No it isn't and that is not the fact to support such arguments. Intel Cooperation in few areas or some occasions are different than the Country's diplomatic & Strategical approach. They are testing such missiles aimed at us or even try to attack our N facility back in 90s yet you want Pakistan to be scared or afraid, be in panic and compromise our basic stance. Sorry if it was harsh but I had to reply in this manner.
Our stance on Israel is solely based on Khartoum Resolution, most of its signatories have withdrawn from the pledge already. No recognising Israel does not serve our interests, and it absolutely doesn't do a $hT to Palestinian cause.
Secondly, if we are so concerned about Israel, we should be looking at opening the doors of diplomacy since the only time we have been able to influence Israel over Palestine in recent history, was, when we directly engaged them diplomatically, on Foreign Minister level.
Secondly, Israel's concerns about Pakistan and our nukes are genuine since we got involved in the Arab-Israel wars, so it was natural for them to feel threatened, a lot has changed since then and the cooperation of 80s has shown us that we can work together for common goals.
Israel has a lot to offer in technology, and it's a door to the US Congress on almost all major issues.
My question is, what do you achieve from denying a reality? You can protect the innocents in Gaza in a better way if you have a direct line with them. Sitting with eyes closed will do us no good.
Read Quran-e-Pak and it will clear your doubts about Israel and if they can be your friends.
Qur'an asks us to be wise and not be idiots.
