its in hadiths (words from prophet Muhammed PBUH). Prophet Muhammed PBUH also said people will forget about Dajjal before the arrival of Dajjal( now days most of us don't know or don't know much about Dajjal). only almighty knows better why its not mentioned in Quran but I believe since people will forget about him before his arrival this could be the one reason (since Quran will be there until day of judgement). this is my opinion and I may be wrong. thanks
