Utterly ridiculous. I don't see a nation for Hindus, a nation for Buddhists, a nation for Catholics, a nation for Protestants, a nation for atheists, a nation for Orthodox Christians, a nation for Shintos, a nation for Zoroastrians. If every religion gets a nation, there'd be thousands of nations.

If muslims countries can have Islam as state religion then why can't Israel have Judaism as state religion. Also who told you Buddhist countries dont have state religion. Bhutan, Cambodia and Laos has Buddhism as staye religion and others like Myanmar, Thailand and Sri lanka has no state religion but the constitution gives preference to Buddhism
