Let's not go overboard - Israel did not fight Kargil for India.

They supplied 155 mm artillery ammunition on an emergency basis, for a fair price, and that timely supply is gratefully acknowledged.

Indo-Israel relations are wide-ranging, deep and mutually beneficial. After the next election, they may get even closer. Hopefully that will not affect the relationship with other friends in West Asia.

^^^ yes extreme, right-wing, interpreting of these religions will show this. BUT not only are these SMALL, TINY minorities who believe in this but India and Israel are NOT therocratic/religious statessp. They are democratic, secular and pluralist nations with huge diversity. There is a church-state separation so no matter how extreme any minority view may be they can't influence either nations' foreign policy.

This only time will tell.. Friendship in case of nations doesn't grow in a day. It will depend upon so many things that even today's great allies may not be able to help each other or may fight alongside or may even become enemy in future.. All we can do it is try to make friendship better and win enemies with hook or crook.

The "Brahmin" label is supposed to be based on a person's innate abilities and tendencies, not on birth. The same applies to the other Varnas also.
