So basically Quran and Prophet Mohammad, apparently according to your interpretation, both teach you not to trust people of other faith, consider them as enemies and hate them? Is that what majority of followers believe?

Gubbi before jumping to conclusion that whether Islam is the religion of peace or not please read the verses carefully.....

The quranic verse i refered to says that don't make christian and jews allies in any matter. It doesn't mean that we are given liberty to hate them. Even at the time of Khilafat jews and muslims lived togethter in many areas of Islamic rule in peace and we had no issues with each other.... But yes we are not allowed to make them the allies in big matters like defence, etc.

Even now if Israel gives Palestine what they require i.e freedom and independence, we have no issues with Israel. they can live there life and we will live our without interfering.

our Khalifahs managed the big area that was spreaded fom present Pakistan to Spain , and still we don't get the single poor person (whether christian, jew or muslim) in their rule. Even Hazrat Umar (RA) punished his own army General with lashes, when he lashed a jew purposelessly.... Will you call this hatred towards other religion or the otherwise?

Islam has always promoted peace , but the thing is that it don't allow us to have alliances with these two. this doesn't mean that we hate them. we can live side by side like neighbouring countries but we are not allowed to interfere in their issues and we are also told not to let them interfere in our issues.

Allies and friends are far-fetched, at the most the two countries can have a working relationship, even if the two countries have diplomatic relationship I don't think people of both the countries will feel a bond or anything.

Not recognizing a country that has been in existence for 60 years and is a major military, technological and economic player is stupid.

Also I believe there are many Islamic pilgrimages in Israel (second or third most holy one) and sizable Arab population in Israel, which one will be able to travel to if you have diplomatic relationship

the Holy Quran says in Ayat 51 of Surah al Maidah:-

So if any Muslim here is thinking that it is very beneficial for Pakistan to make Israeli thugs their allies then they are completely misguided.. We made USA and Britian our allies and have seen what terrible things we have faced in our 63 years history...

Everything our country and rest of the Muslim world is facing today is because we have not obeyed this ayat .

Relation with Israel may give us weapons but it will not give us good afterlife...

"time and time again , you (O Muslims!) will see that the bitterest enemies of You will be the JEWS"​

So making relation with Jews who are killing our brothers and sisters is against Islam.

You are taking this into the wrong sense.That is the problem you see. We Pakistanis easily get carried away. The Quran clearly says you cannot be friends with them but at the same time does not forbid muslims from making day to day dealings. Establishing diplomatic ties does not mean we have suddenly become friends with them. Its a mere recognition of another country. Israel does exist and its not going anywhere, so i dont see a point why we shouldnt except a reality.

Although it would be nice for Israel and Pakistan to be friends, it doesn't seem probable that Israel would do that, for one they will be losing some of their clout in delhi.
I am not a expert on Pakistan but wouldn't pakistan's allies in the muslim world be ticked by this?

probably many people will disagree with me but I am siding with india on this one indian kashmiris live much better than palestinians atleast india is not an apartheid state ,denying them food,water,medicine and pretty much every supply you can think of nor are they building hindu only settlements on forcefully seized land claiming god promised it to them.
Infact pakistan is more an apartheid due to open and institutionalized discrimination against ahmadis so we are not really ones to talk .we need to get our own house in order first before we worry about others.Though one thing is true pakistan is nowhere near as anti-israel as people make out we are thousands of miles away and have no dispute with them we don't want to destroy israel just co-existance we want a palestinian state thats all.We have even said we'll recognize israel when they give palestinians their independence.

Majority of Indian does not believe but it is your history and government's stance. Here are few points which led us to this belief:-

1) GoP never recognised Israel- Not a symbol of friend
2) Pakistan was involved in Six day war against Israel.
3) Pakistan claims Israel helped India in Kargil- friend of foe is foe
4) Being Islamic republic, Pakistan believes in Quran's saying of "Yahood and Hanood" are enemies. Hence no friendship
5) Pakistan always sided Palestine cause and raised voice against Israel in International forums.
6) Pakistanis believe that Israel with help of RAW tried to attack Kahuta Plant.
