Following Trump's threats, Iranian defense minister touts his country's deterrence power against the US and Israel.

Israel and the US are the greatest threat to the Middle East, but Iran has the power to deter them, Iranian Defense Minister Brig.-Gen. Hossein Dehqan said on Wednesday.

Dehqan's comments came amid heated rhetoric between US President Donald Trump and the leadership of Iran, which last week carried out a ballistic missile test that the US administration saw as a provocation.

In WW2 if Germany could conquer France within 6 weeks then Israel can be conquered in 1 week today. We have seen Israeli limitations in the last Lebanon war where Israeli combat forces refusing to engage with Hezbollah forces across the border and when they did they suffered a crushing defeat. It is of no matter, because as of today no single existing entity in the entire Middle East - not to mention the Levant, is able to destroy Israel as a state. Now our adversaries best option to pose a serious threat is to band together, which you don't really need to be an expert to see that they are... well... uncooperative so to speak and would rather kill each other most of the time - so if Hezbollah for example, which are tough indeed as an organization, go with an all-out-war against Israel they already know that they can't come even close to defeating us but rather disturb the civilian daily routine and they know that right now when Syria is no longer a threat to Israel it would be smarter for them to not start anything aggressive with us for their greatest advantage was attacking Israel with both the Syrian Army and their vast amount of missiles, and now that the latter option is all that remains, Israel is of no existing danger at the moment.

In WW2, France ended up occupying Germany. Did you read different history in school if you have them in your country?

Israel can be easily conquered - by countries much stronger than Israel. Not by primitive countries and primitive low IQ populations that think yelling at the top of their voice is the solution to all of their ills. Or that venting anger and displeasure at the most trivial reasons is the solution of their miseries. From what I have seen, USA attacked Iraq and Afghanistan, also Pakistan, Yemen, Libya, Sudan, Syria without much of a repercussion on its own territory. Iran to this day cries and whines about atrocities and injustices by Americans many decades ago. Guess what? They also dare not attack USA mainland. Let me know when Iran North Korea China Russia or any of their primitive cousins dare to attack USA mainland.
