The only thing that concerns me is that whole middle east and Pakistan get internet access thru some sea cable lines - in case of war the west can just chop off the cable and there would be chaos interm of communication in Middle east and Pakistan

Pakistan should move to get its own communication settelites up so that it can get all the telecommunication handled at Settelite level and not thru some cable thru sea which can be cut off in term of crisis

Secondly , no one can hack into Pakistani Systems -

China has missiles that actually reach space and knock out settelites they do work in night too as in day light , but the issue of communication coming thru whole middle east and Pakistan thru one line and then commnication going to other states like Israel or india , is an issue ...

Cables don't just get cut in water it was probbly an intentional test to see which countries would be effected the countries that get effeted

India I think hooked themselves with other options when they realized they were on same network with the other nations

Similarly I think Pakistan should seek to be independent on Communication networks you can't depent on networks which originate else where , I mean your cable link can get cut just like that and your whole economy would get effeted

I was actually shocked when I heard about that incident back few years ago

I think it was Worldcom that laid separate cables for India at the cost of the Americans lol

Seriously speaking, last year when the cables were cut somewhere near the Suez, India was barely affected, while South-East Asia and Middle East went without internet for a day or two.
