Israel can hack and destroy the enemy database?

On 17/12/2009 at geo.tv/urdu site I red a news, that,
Israel can hack and destroy the enemy database ? (Cyber Warfare)
Are we also prepare / aware this kind of threat (Especially defense/atomic site)
Pls share knowledge.

Hacking a website ( The correct term is Cracking, Hacking is a respectable thing unlike cracking ), is not as easy as people make it look like, not in this age. At the same time a small mistake by a web admin can open ports for attackers to gain access. I dont think any web admin of such a important site will keep the unused port open or wont monitor/route traffic through a firewall.

Again at the same time the important information wont be kept in the same server as that hosts their public domain website.

So, dont lose your sleep over this. At the same time yes gaining access is possible but then any able guy from any country can do the same, nothing to do with Israel, US, India, China or anyone else.

What i know is, most of the users are dependent on the companies, softwares, application & all stuff which are owned by israeli, jews companies. now tell me how many people (you trust) actually actually compiled what "svhost.exe" does (I am not talking about microsoft documentations). This services is allowed by all pakistani companies, because of rpc calls and they think their domains might not work without that. Similarly i can point on 100s things which no pakistan even tested, but everyone is using it, at the production, and some of the most critical databases like nadara is also allowed on the internet. Yes for a system administrator (who is pakistani) these things might be difficult to tackle as they have 10s of servers to handle, but they are scared of losing his job, that if something gone wrong then he will be kicked out of job, neither he has time to do R&D. These are hidden problems, ok even if we look at most known problems, how many pakistani companies does follow password policy? how many pakistani webservers has firewall, and configures properly? how many companies has employees don't download stuff from internet? and so o on.

Thing is, if cyberwar begins then pakistan will loss this fight within weeks (if not days). Like we have seen this in last cyber war with india. Most of the official database were compromised but those people didn't had any government support. Just imagine if some company does that with government support then what can be done.

Absolutely right, But then who runs serious websites on a windows server anyway

Here what the OP was concerned was about the sensitive servers like Nuclear and defence servers, not servers which hosts public websites like

About cyber war, yes thats possible but then its a lost cause like any other war. When I was in college we also had a cyber war with IIT Kanpur and believe me in 2 days we defaced all their websites and later brought them down using DoS and DDoS method. But today after 8 yrs, I am ashamed of my deed.

Yup absolutely right . The pentagon for example puts its info in servers which are geographically located among many parts of the world . Plus alot of corporates follow the priciples of DATA Redundancy by having multiple datacenters instead of a central one.

The growing cyyber attacks demand for the development of new internet technology which could meet the latest requirements of security and tracking plus the integeration into more mobile plateforms like 3Gs and netbooks .

Israel control international banking with the Rothschild family, the US government, Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda, Hollywood, the American media, the UN, the Illuminati, even the weather. So what is the sense of worrying about the security of Pakistani military database?

Indian defence people are careless, they want only full time employee to work on their software. They are unwilling to take help from other companies.
