Sorry for what you believe, we do not have Arabs in Algeria..All of us are berbers that use use a semblant of Arabic, more like a local language that 100% of the population uses and understand..Arabic is a still a war gain language just as the French…but never took roots in Algeria..that is the reason behind our Algerian representative use French…in their communications..instead of Arabic that very few master. Most administrative paperworks in Algeria are still in French..save the judicial system..

You have Algerian flag though, are you not Arab or do you feel apart of another group.

How many Maghrebines (Berbers / Imazighen, Kabyles) have I met who said "a Khaliji Arab acquaintance asked me: "Why don't you people speak Arabic?""

This is how far apart their dialects of Arabic are. To most of their respective speakers, they are mutually unintelligible.

That is not all true despite that each Arab country has it own dialect, not all Arabs speak classical arbic and Classical Arabic is rarely used outside government or schools. We understand most the Arab spoken by countries who’s citizens worked in Algeria, since most of them do not use Classical Arabic in their conversations. The wide presence of Arabic tv channels helped quite a bit in alleviating the language barrier…
