For Egypt's sake, just seal the border. I do not see how Egypt can benefit from supporting hamas and having war with Israel. Islamists may grap the governmental power but the real power is still held by military. Military won't do anything stupid.

Military can't afford to hold on its powers they will have to give them up and stop taking part in politics or other wise people of Egypt will take away from them
