The Islamic Emirate of Waziristan (Urdu: اسلامی امارات وزیرستا&#1606, also known as the Islamic Republic of Waziristan, is a rebel organization, in Waziristan, Pakistan that some commentators claim gained de facto recognition from the Government of Pakistan when it was named as party to the Waziristan Accord, the agreement reached between Islamabad and local tribesmen to end the undeclared Waziristan War on 5 September 2006.[1][2] [1][2][3]

Well it doesn't matter what you call it, but it definitely isn't Pakistani territory anymore. That is a fact for sure. Don't believe me, try going there and saying you are Pakistani. Ask Hamid Mir what they think of Pakistan over there.

Living in denial doesn't help brother. We have to face reality. Waziristan is a much biggger problem than Swat and the army needs to go in there and show these terrorists that it is serious now.

yesterday the same channel gave news that Wazir tribe has said it will help Govt to esteblish its writ in Mahsud area
Dawars and barki area is also with govt

Kindly do the same and demonstrate. You guys have generally downplayed the authenticity of wikipedia, but it works on the same principals - that you need to provide valid, genuine and neutral references.

You may be able to create any page, but it wont last more than a week on Wiki if not genuine.

These lands are currently gone from Pakistan's portfolio. They are correctly called the Islamic Emirate of Waziristan until such time as your army reclaims in Pakistan's name.

Secular Humanist has this correct. You must EARN your writ of state in the Islamic Emirate of Waziristan with considerably more than proud chatter.
