OIC is a dysfunctional grouping at best, it is in no position to claim to be the representatives of the entire Islamic community. There is no such thing as the united Islamic "Ummah". Anyway, I am not sold on why a religion needs a seat at a political body such as the UNSC, it is not the place for such a demand.
Agreed they cannot agree on even a single thing
How is this supposed to work? Saudis are mostly interested in having UN resolutions against Iran and Iran is mostly interested in having resolutions against Saudis. So if Muslims had a permanent seat, how would they vote on Yemen for instance? Saudia against Houthis, Iran against Saudia. I feel sorry for the poor muslim permanent representative to the UN.
The muslim world would need one seat for Sunnis led by Saudis and another for Shias led by Iran, a separate one for all the other little sects and Ahmedis would have an IKEA self assembling stool somewhere in the corner of the council room.
Lol the last part was awesome
