Let me help with the Christian name thing though :

If so we wouldn't be calling our organization European Union, we would be calling it Christian Union or better still Organization of Christian Countries(OCC).

In fact, one of the top members of the EU, a place I know well, France … has a system
that forbids religion to take part in or overcome the functions of the republic.
Your right to believe is defended as your right to practice but both are to be left for private life.
Civil servants are not allowed to bear religious markers for instance. Not even a cross?!

Dream all you want but as long as we are in it, the EU is certainly not a religious club.
