Islamabad much safer than Washington DC

Islamabad is my favourite city in Pakistan, I literally used to roam around independently at times with leggings and dresses, jeans and t-shirts, skirts and tights. Eat amazing food and lots of shopping. Loved it.
Try doing that in area around laal masjid :D
Lol just kidding

All Valid points. To each his own. I like DC due to work related stuff mostly.
Try the newly opened National Museum of African American History and Culture in DC the next time you visit. It's pretty amazing.
That said- I'm all about NY too, not Manhattan though- Long Island is  for me.
I have been there and it wasn't all that.
Long island is too quiet and boring but safer than other parts of NY.
Most people who work in DC travel all the way from VA or MD but if you are in cyber security then it's worth it. i guess

Having had a decent exposure to DC- i disagree

Inner cities in the US are highly unsafe: Chicago, Detroit, New York (except Manhattan), Philadephia, Baltimore, St Louis, Atlanta, Washington DC etc. are all highly dangerous.

he is trying to make people stupid
Compare all things and take a percentage and then show result
Population Islamabad 2 million Area 906 km²
Population Washington 7.17 million Area 184,827 km²
Bhai... that's the state of Washington not Washington City.

Washington DC has a population of 600,000 and has an area of 177 km.

It comes to show how safer Islamabad is.

Again depends on what part of DC. The capital part is swanky if anything.

To me it was very interesting. Again to each his own.
I like NY because of their general open-liberal culture, unlike the middle white states- where one starts getting dirty looks for being brown.

What D.C. have you visited?
Nearly all of it

http://www.city-data.com/city/Washington-District-of-Columbia.html#b

nearly half of the population of Washington D.C is black. is it racist to point this out??
No it's not racist and you are right,The metro is dominated by them also it's very rare to see a white or other ethnicity working for the metro. I wonder why?

Which middle white states to be precise? I believe florida is the most racist state in America

Staten island and queens are safe too. Chicago is the most dangerous out of all of them.

“They [Washington DC] have a police strength of 4,200 while we [Islamabad Police] only have 3,200 in the operations division,”
There are about 3,800 uniformed officers in the Metropolitan D.C. police department; the rest are civilian employees.

(Most crime in D.C. has fallen the past few years. However, hate crimes targeting people on the basis of religion or ethnicity have increased.)

The equivalent personnel strength for Islamabad appears to be 9,900 officers and 750 civilians.

True- Florida is the most rotten of them all. What I mean is hit the right parts of liberal- Upstate NY, Ohio, or even Pennsylvania and they'll make you feel like an outsider.
