We carried out Commando raids inside then USSR for goodness sake! The F16 which as lost to an A2A own goal; had been bombing Afghan Army positions.

There have been many airstrikes inside Afghanistan, enough that its not even newsworthy. Deep penetration strikes are rarer but have happened.

You are absolutely right. India gave 3 more heli to Afg forces. There is no reason for pakistan to air strike inside Afghanistan in this current circumstance when we are securing and fencing the border. Pakistan cant take risk untill unless fully secure the long border. However there are cross border activites which pakistan has to strickly watch and has to retaliate.
