This all makes sense when u see TTP as an extension of the state's dirty hand. It becomes very clear how they get information and how they are able to do those things which cavemen mullahs should not be able to do. Seeing TTP as dirty team of the state also makes it clear why the locals hate the state and blames it. The locals know who fund n develop these madrassas that produce baboons. Yes the locals are ethnic nationalists but they are not religious extremists, so them supporting TTP is just the excuse of confused minds. Imagine TTP as the dirty cop of the state and everything will start to make sense, why they can pull off such operations and why locals blame state for what TTP extremists do.

Nothing is extension of anyone else's hand, this is just typical deflection tactics

Locals loved the TTP until it was too extreme for their liking and then switched to supporting the army.

It seems locals want to give their brothers another chance until it gets too extreme and punjabi army is called back

Or just view TTP as another pashtun nationalists group with religious cover just like the Taliban

They draw local support through pashtunism not religion and it has always been this way

Judging from what they are doing over "Here" inside Pakistan doubts arise
The support prior to 2022 March used to be pretty universal and absolute.

It is truly a difficult time to have doubts about ISI role


By the way technically Overthere is also over here as Waziristan is Pakistan

Again your statement is full of irony and is totally illogical. You saying locals supported them but then they were too extreme so they supported army but now again giving them a chance?😂 Comeon man, that is absurd.
Have u ever seen the local tribal area protests? Im sure u have not because they r never shown on media. I remember the protests from 2008 as well when locals blamed army for helping extremists.
What about swat and dir? You think those ppl support TTP? What about current protests of those ppl blaming army for TTP comeback??
If TTP was issue of local support then it would have been destroyed, but they keep resurfacing, guess how? Its easy for generals to fool city ppl and blame locals, only those who visit these areas and meet locals or do business know the bullshit of these generals.
Come visit this summer and ill take u to tribal areas and u can meet ppl, see their lifestyle, enjoy their hospitality and music and then ill ask u if u think these ppl support TTP.

You know the lashkars that the army supported admitted this themselves? On video?

Also there are countless books on this as well.

Locals did support them but then they became too brutal for their liking. They started hanging and beheading elder people and became aggressive.

This is the most stupid statement i can imagine. Shows u know nothing about those ppl. The ppl of tribal area do tend to have ethnic nationalism but never ever religious extremism. The ones that have religious extremism, call the nationalists as kafir. When TTP took over these areas, they first killed local pashtun leaders, calling them nationalist kafirs. The agenda of religious extremists is beyond race. We all know there are large number of punjabis in taliban too. Locals are now protesting the resurfacing of these baboons and ppl like u blame locals for supporting them. Get out of ur hole and visit and see for urself.

Medrassas were built on name of Islam, ppl were trained on name of jihad. The tribals have love for Islam and that was exploited by generals. When ppl realized what the real purpose of these baboons is then they hate them. The baboons then killed local leaders to gain control and spread fear. The locals see them as khwarij and yet they keep resurfacing, keep getting stronger, keep crossing the borders, keep getting weapons and training. I personally know lashkars were made against TTP and we saw no support of army to those local anti TTP lashkars, infact in many cases army let TTP slaughter those lashkars.
What i am telling you is considered a solod fact here, people have no doubt about it, only ppl of punjab and otjers think otherwise. Thats why u should visit and see for urself.

Army is not maintaining enough military strength on the western border. TTP getting bolder is a proof of that. They attack as if there are no consequences for them. With foreign powers gone there should not be one square inch of land in Afghanistan outside of army's reach.
You cannot have high level officers loitering in areas that are like enemy territory. Clear the area first or keep it under siege until the terrorists are handed over.

Come on man, give everyone a break

At the heart of the TTP is pashtunism, this is not up for debate, it's a basic truth, all you need to realize this is speak with their supporters for 30 seconds, most of their supporters and members are ethno extremists and attack Pakistan not because of religious extremism but because of the same afghan trope of KP being afghan territory, durrand line blah blah
Most of the support TTP gets is on the base of this ethnocentric extremism
