Mr. Jinnah was Khoja Bohri but after the partition he became Itna Asharya Shia Muslim.

Don’t know about his beleifs but both Musa and his master Ayub were lacking in any sort of military strategy and guile.

Regardless, the issue here is that many moles exist and loyalty to the state is important and not religious compulsions.

That is certainly true. 1965 is classic example of how not to run a war. Terrible strategic planning. Around this time Israeli's armed with the same Pattons, Shermans. M113 APC's, Sabres wrecked all the combined Arab armies of Egypt, Jordan, Syria etc and conquered huge swathes of land including West Bank. This was down to brilliant leadership. What we needed was guy with one eye and one patch and Kashmir would have been ours.

What we needed was the Quaid to survive, since everyone that came after him was only looking after their self interests; and when his sister stepped up to at least provide some light the Deserter of Burma decided to use ethnic politics and rigging to win.

First thing first, Is Gen Asim a Shia? If so, then shouldn't you be pondering over how many Sunni generals are serving under Mullah regime, let alone be raised to lead their intel agencies?
