ISI harassed me for promoting peace with India: Pak activist

Please do consider her letter. It is suspicious. she was working for minorities. Nothing wrong in it. But her visits to India, coupled with anti ISI protests, makes one wonder if she has any hidden motives?

I am a citizen of Lahore a social and peace activist, founder of Institute for Peace and Secular Studies. As such I have been involved in numerous social and right based activities for the last fifteen years. My activities involve peace initiative with our neighbors particularly India and additionally involved in campaign against various injustices prevalent in our society regarding minorities, women, poor and the underprivileged. For reasons that I can not fathom these lawful activities have led to my constant harassment by the intelligence agencies of the country.

Following my protests against the horrors of Shantinagar massacre in 1999, my visits to India as part of people to people peace initiatives and visits of some Indian delegates to my home, I have been constantly harassed by various intelligence agencies.

and on top of that why INDIANS visiting her HOME?? Why not the organisation's office?

And what is the proof that these people in Indian delegations were not Indian spies .


And on top of that if she is in the business since 15 years why agencies only started probing her if he claims are right?? Why she came up with allegations at this point?? why she did not opened her mouth before.

Everyone writes or talks against ISI. Nothing new. Yeah i guess her contact with Indians was the basic reason.

Lahore: A Pakistani peace activist has charged country’s intelligence agencies of ‘constantly’ harassing her for promoting Indo-Pak peace.

Talking to reporters at the Press Club here, Saeeda Diep, founder of the Institute for Peace and Secular Studies, said Pakistani intelligence agencies were harassing her for supporting peace between India and Pakistan.

“I have been taken to police stations, forcibly picked up from the Lahore Press Club by intelligence personnel, constantly threatened on the phone, while my contact diary has been stolen,” Diep said.

She accused the Inter Services Intelligence (ISI), IB, and Special Brach personnel of humiliating her during the several rounds of interrogation that she has been forced to attend.

“These people keep on asking the same question that who is your husband and provide us the full details of your family,” The Daily Times quoted Diep, as saying.

Diep said that she had even lodged a formal complaint with the ISI Director Lieutenant Director General Ahmed Shuja Pasha in May in this regard, but no action has been taken so farISI harassed me for promoting peace with India: Pak activist

This is funny indeed. The whole world is fcuking desperate to malign this National Security Organization of Pakistan. True of False, stories ae surfacing and that indicates who is a after it with what objectives. But guess what.. you will all end up eating dust like countless times before Inter Services Intelligence will keep hitting where it hurts our enemies the most
