Is War Between China and India Possible?

The only possibility in Future would be the Water. With the increase in the population and only 1 percentage of total water available for consumption, the water will be the only cause for the future conflict.
We have already seen the Chinese building couple of dams on Brahmaputra, and the plans to divert the Direction of the river, thus affecting two country India and Bangladesh.

India too is building dozens of DAMs, on top of the ones that it has already built, and is trying to divert waters away from Pakistan. I too fear that there may come a time when Pakistan may have no other option but to go to war with India over water.

Long full fledged war won't happen untill it's a world war where almost every nation is fighting in collaboration.
One on one war is not possible as both the countries are growing economies and are smart and matured enough to know the consequences.
A short skirmish, naval skirmish or proxy war may be possible in future.

Times of long full fledged war between nations has gone, we may definitely see many border skirmishes , But nothing major that can have devastating.

In short to medium term, India and China will be more focused on development in their countries. Long term we may see increasing use of proxies or economic competition.

If a war happens between the two, india will be humiliated so bad india will disintegrate into a thousand independent kingdoms and every indians will cry so had that the whole subcontinent will be flooded.

Yes -- True, the third world war I predict will be due to water.

I give you an example. The two states U.P and Rajasthan of one country India got tension over the dispute of water of Chambal, and once even the Police of both the states got involved against each other. Thats the Local news, so I can't give you any link. The river Kaveri water is cause of disputes of 3 states Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Naidu.
