I didn't kown much about India.

But one thing I'm sure that India government is very inefficient.

Why the India economic data of first quarter released until June , compare to other counties almost released in April.

It makes economic departments lost so much time to adjustment policy.

You have officially declared War on India on PDF, although you don't know India generally and some Indians on this forum particularly :D best of luck :enjoy:

Does this mean that India is no longer a Galactic supa pawa?
I am so sorry to hear that, we needed supa pawa India to defend the earth from the voltrons. :woot:

It is the Indian ego which calls itself a superpower, while they have more poverty than Africa.

There is no ego bigger than that. Thinking you are the top of the world, when in fact you are at the very bottom.

I don't like the way author blames 'Oxford-educated economist'.....i mean what has Oxford got to do with that?

Anyway, No one saw India's growth to continue un-affected.....economies grow and then are struck by hurdles. In India, these tend to be agricultural sector, the lack of infrastructure development and the slow pace of economic intervention.

Let's see where it goes.....next 2 years are crucial as elections are also coming up.

I think the growth will cool to a more subtle figure of 4-5%...which itself is very good....and then once infrastructure catches up.........it can go back up to 6%.

But....the days of 8% are gone.

No not over, while the growth rate has fallen due to many hurdles and international depression, all the drivers for future growth are still intact.

The sarcastic comments by pakistanis are particularly confusing.

Sir other than heavy population India has no other driver for growth.

...why? Because truth is always bitter?

The Indian tiger has already shown its power in th last decade.
True to the tiger like behaviour it is taking a step back to make a giant leap . This is the truth of the Crouching tiger. For when it becomes the leaping tiger the hidden dragon will have nowhere to hide. hahahahaha.

India will keep growing, but the Indians here dream of becoming a superpower; sadly this won't happen.

Yeah its time for 20% growth pa. By 2025 Indian per capita will be highest in the world.

i dont konw what you mean by super power. Let us , once and for all, for god's sake , all sit down, indian , paksitani, chinese and the odd lankan, vn etc and decide what is the definition of souperpower. I am sick and tired of hearing this term.
