i wonder for how long this thread gonna run but anyway i have a question when tejas carries more fuel but still is smaller , lighter compact and has a better T/W ratio than JF17 how come tejas has combat radius of little over 400Km while JF17 has a comabt radius of 1300Km ?

Let the masters reply; from my point of view, the difference between ADE and ISPR is about 900 kms.

Please, chief, stop getting impressed; just think of the replacements. How much was the range of the MiG derivatives that the JF-17 replaces? How much of an extension was built in, and how much fuel might that take? Etc.

It has also got FADEC which RD 93 does nt have

of JF 17

We Make in India AND use the RD 33 SERIES 3 in our Mig 29 -- which is better than RD 93
