Is tejas better then JF 17 Thunder???

@Abingdonboy @MastanKhan @gambit please tell me when tejas carries more fuel but still is smaller , lighter compact and has a better T/W ratio than JF17 how come tejas has combat radius of little over 400Km while JF17 has a comabt radius of 1300Km ?

of JF 17

We Make in India AND use the RD 33 SERIES 3 in our Mig 29 -- which is better than RD 93

every body knows that but why is that despite that fact andf the fact tejas is lighter , smaller carries more fuel and has a bettwer T/W ratio than JFT still it has 1/3rd the comabt radius of JFT ?
