Racism did play a role I'm sure but good luck trying to fight British tabloid press, its mostly for the scum class to keep them diverted away from the real Issues in UK. btw the way some Black people behaved when Meghan Markle and Harry married was like the second coming of Jesus lol. They were singing and dancing like they have taken revenge for slavery.

Usually the media jumps on Pakistanis and generally South Asians pretty quickly, they can tarnish whole communites for the crimes of some gangs but Black British people get a free pass, London is full of Black teens stabbing and robbing people but not a single British media outlet has the courage to call it what it is, Black crimes on Asians, Whites and tourists go unchekced. Unlike certain criminal gangs that target other criminals, black teens are known to pick on non white victims based on their race. In Nottingham a bunch of black girls beat a Egypitan student to pulp who eventaully died three weeks later. Surprise surprise the Media totally ignroed the fact that the egyptian student was being bullied by black girls and just called it a typical teenage dispute.

Totally agree. Racists exist amongst blacks and asians too. We are racists to each other.
Honestly speaking. Racism exists in the UK but what are we doing to integrate as well. We have create ghettos where only asian Pakistani muslims live. They have their salwar kamiz on and burke's for the women. All drama ofcourse. Then the white dude wants his bacon butty and we go all islamic on him. What the hell do we expect?

White flight created those areas, not us. I live in an affluent middle class suburb, its full of professional Pakistanis and Indians. The white people moved away when Asian people started moving in.

The bacon butties and pubs is a smokescreen too. I lived most of my life in the ghetto, its simple market factors that close these places down. Thier customers leave.

The poor white man has always been about living in the moment, no aspirations, waiting for state handouts. My father came here in the 60s. He worked as labour in a factory and in the 70s was renting property he owned to native whites. What stopped those whites who were born here doing the same? Thy had money for booze, cigarettes and whores. Priorities. As our population increased people bought homes owned by others, those renting left.

Regarding racism in the job market. Its more prevalent in the North where there is less work or in areas where there are less BAME people. London, Midlands, Big cities in North West don't have the same level AFAIK.

Agree with regards to white vs Brown racism.

The new problem that has arisen is Hindutva diaspora being racist against Pakistani diaspora. This is so real that it is palpable,and because of the socio-economic delineations you described between north and south, it is more prevalent in the Midlands and south, where Pakistanis and Hindutva are represented heavily in professional spheres, hence will come into conflict.

I spent some time both in Dublin and Belfast. I prefer the loyalists to the Irish nationalists. I

True for me UK is off limits, i will never go there. In holland no issues - speak the language and it is much more chilled. same in Belgium. Overall best place in Europe is Ireland

I’m talking from experience having lived in Belgium for a bit. We all like where we live
