Is patriotism in India and Pakistan defined by hate for each other??

.
For example imagine that tomorrow Israel accepts the two state solution and makes a peace with the Palestinians, And of course gives us our money back, With it's interests, Don't you think that in this imaginary tomorrow we can be friends with Israel? I mean, It's not like that people are born to be each other's enemies or something, Right?

Most people from our part of the world (Greater Middle East) will only be fine with Israel if its citizens agree to live under Palestinian rule or buzz off. I'm one of those people.

If one were to believe many of this forum's postings, patriotism for Indians and Pakistanis is mainly defined by hate and contempt for each other. Rather than progress in human terms together as two similar South Asian countries, India and Pakistan have been on constant collision course since 1947.

I personally believe in friendship projects like 'Aman ki asha' and cross-border music and film projects. In fact I believe in a common human spaceflight program. Rather than costly military programs aimed at each other I believe in resources being employed for the benefits of the common man in either country. Rather than mutual hates at government level, I would like to see similar progressive political systems in the central governments of either country.

What is your opinion??

Note : I am not including other South Asian countries because they don't have that much controversy with either India or Pakistan.

Basically you want me to accept that Pakistan was a mistake and Jinnah and all those people who migrated to newly found Pakistan were wrong.

Which of the two people wanted a separate country? And which majority would have been okay with united Hindustan or Bharat?

Muslim majority not only wanted freedom from British Raj but a separate land of their own ....... the difference between the two people lies in their struggle for freedom and goals for that struggle, Hindu majority was fine with Freedom from British Raj only.

Which people killed their founding father and for what reason? The reason for that killing should tell you which people have a strong bias and hate towards the other.

Aman ki asha should accept we are two different people, we may be living in same conditions and may have the same slave mentality, but we are not same people. The reality that we all have to inhale oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide is not enough to say that we are all same. For people who lived in the same region, they are bound to have common traditions and habits to some extent ...... but that is not sufficient to label us and put us under one banner of same people.

india is headed towards its own destination, Pakistan is in process of reshaping its destiny.

Your idea of socialism may succeed in Pakistan but it will never be a success in india ..... that is how much different we are.

Most people from our part of the world (Greater Middle East)

Since when is Pakistan part of a "Greater Middle East"?? :o:

will only be fine with Israel if its citizens agree to live under Palestinian rule or buzz off. I'm one of those people.

Why will Israelis live under Palestinian rule??

A proper solution to the Israel-Palestine issue is a single country called Isratin, which was proposed by Muammar Gaddafi in his document called The White Book.

Basically you want me to accept that Pakistan was a mistake and Jinnah and all those people who migrated to newly found Pakistan were wrong.

Well, the Dalai Lama, who lives in India, recently got into a controversy by stating that the Partition happened because of the ego of Nehru who refused to allow Jinnah to become the prime minister of ( united ) India. The Dalai Lama also said that Jinnah was Gandhi's first choice.

The Dalai Lama had to apologize for his statement, but I think he is partially true. I believe both Nehru and Jinnah was egotistical and stubborn.

Which people killed their founding father and for what reason? The reason for that killing should tell you which people have a strong bias and hate towards the other.

I didn't understand your point.

By the way, Godse ( Gandhi's assassin ) was a member of RSS and Hindu Mahasabha. Both are right-wing organizations which hated Gandhi.

Aman ki asha should accept we are two different people, we may be living in same conditions and may have the same slave mentality, but we are not same people. The reality that we all have to inhale oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide is not enough to say that we are all same. Allow me to talk of this point at a later date.

Your idea of socialism may succeed in Pakistan but it will never be a success in india ..... that is how much different we are.

You are correct to the extent that socialism is not the ideology in many of today's Indian youth, and the leftist youth of say, the JNU ( Jawaharlal Nehru University - Delhi ), find the going hard.

Socialism was the fashion in India until the late 80's. You can sense it in the 2003 Hiindi film 'Hazaaron khwaishen aisi'.

I suppose these things go in a cycle.

Pakistan came close to true socialist governance during the attempted coup d'etat in 1951 called the "Rawalpindi conspiracy".

We Indians majority sees Pakistan as another neighbour .Some North Indians may have obsession .
But its end there.

The South Indian ( Kannada ) actress, Ramya aka Divya Spandana, had this to say after her visit to Pakistan.

Since pretty much forever:

Dark green = Middle East (core territories)
Medium green = Greater Middle East
Light green = Sometimes associated with the Middle East

They should, because the land belongs to the Palestinians.

The dalai lama is an idiot, Jinnah was offered the post of PM several times and refused, that's not the reason partition took place.

I Challenge this claim

. .
Well, unless you can give a reason as to why, your challenge is meaningless.

To fucking begin with it has kashmir not included.

I can pick up a random map and build a myth around it much Better.

If you are dsr478 i am so gonna be pissed at myself

. .
It's not a myth, it's pretty much a fact. Don't like it? Too bad, nobody cares.

I asked you a simple question i dont need Western Mullah Proxy war doomsday crap maps.

You have a Pakistani map and advocate mythical Kingdoms of middle east without kashmir.

Please if you are dsr478. Please tell me. I cant bother much with Western Islamists with an identity crisis

. .
Are you blind? Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan are included.

Islam does not believe in leaving half the Brothers across the fence at the mercy of 'infidels'.

Look man your juice. It has No Taste. No appeal. It cant sell.

Why dont you get on the ivc brigade. It has more Potential.

Nobody cares for Maps drawn in socialist countries spreading uncontrolled capitalism while using Muslims as Cannon fodder.

I got banned for calling India #ChutiyaKingdom which is actually factual but you can Post mindless crap like this and still roam freely. Its a wonder indeed.

Blood yall

What the hell has this got to do with the Kashmir dispute?

Why don't you get on the "I'm done with this forum" brigade?

Like I said, if you don't consider the map to be factual, too bad, because it is. There's no way you can dispute it.
