Well the info provided in the first post is valid. Iran is in Nuclear deal so why the RADAR when America has only 6 of them, why place such a crucial asset next door to Pakistan?? They had these on Russia China and Now Pakistan, well USA is crossing it's limits shouldn't the world react. They are not placing any in South Korea where it is needed to keep check on North Korea but why here???? The only country with capable Ballistic missiles is Pakistan and is there any thing UAE is doing wrong that will throw it in war with Pakistan. The question remains Why? I think people needs to look at this from open mind thinking solely from Pakistan's point of view.

Bottom line is, there is a capability next door to us which is there to shoot down BMs. Keyword is "capability". The security of the nation is not build upon goodwill and gestures or so called brotherhood.

We need to understand at state level more about this facility and if it comes under full control of the UAE armed forces or Americans are managing and controlling the facility along with the equipment because if later is true then alarm bells must be, should be ringing in Pakistan's power corridors.

THAAD's range is only 200km, so no threat to Pakistan. It is a purely defensive weapon.

UAE's military relationship with Pak, is something biased kids cannot fathom, and well outside the scope of this forum.

It is not like if it is India who is getting THAAD
The system is only a part of the coming GCC multilayered air defence system, with the Qatari very long range radar, it is India who should be worried about information and intelligence sharing in extreme cases..but it does not have to, since the GCC will stay neutral (in this regard) to keep the existing strategic deterrence balance between Pakistan and India..

If Iran atacks, UAE does not have capacity to defend themsleves agaist them.
A sheikhddom with population abt 1.3 milion can do nothing. they hve twice the indians than domestic arabs.
