Is Pakistan or Turkey Next? After Qatar..

As GCC leaders like saudi arabia , UAE moving towards young monarchs its look like old policy of wait and see , patience and compromise for better time is quickly changing from good to worst.recently Qatar event showed how withing few hours friends become enemy over foreign policy irrespective of considering national interest of brotherly muslim arab country.

If this approach is going to continue to move forward i suspect 2 more countries Pakistan or Turkey most like to face another wrath of GCC arab countries after Qatar as both countries are following balanced or some what neutral policy in GCC conflicts.

If diplomatic ,financial or social blockade come into effect how pakistan or turkey will survive.If pakistan choose Iran like Qatar please remember that it has very bad reputation in the world sponsoring militias, funding and training proxies in the region.How can pakistan go close to a nation which is now becoming enemy of USA specially trump has no love for them and any time USA can throw nuclear deal into dustbin and put severe sanctions on iran.

Pakistan only hope is china but can china afford to protect pakistan against GCC as its own financial interest are associated in middle east creating gwadar port - CPEC will also connect ME with China.

Threat is looming and dark clouds are hoovering on pakistan's head .A country which highly dependent on foreign aid and remittances from 3M expats in GCC can not afford ostrich approach by digging its neck and ME sand and wait for the final moment clocking is ticking and major foreign policy revamp is need of the hour.

GCC are in no position to force Pakistan and Turkey into anything.
GCC are allies with strong economies and so good prospect for our Skilled workers there.
Qatar is a different story its totally dependent on USA for its defence.
Qatar blockade was done after american concent.
Amy stupidity by West or GCC toward Pakistan and Turkey will beef up a new alliance of Pakistan Turkry Azarbaijan most probably Iran as well supported by China definitely and Russia probably.

But for the time being GCC are good with us and i hope situations dont get messy beteeen Turks Pakistanis and GCC

Both Turkey and Pakistan are not like Qatar.... these both countries have a great army power and keep a great importance in geo political scenario... Pakistan is a nuclear power and has the great army. If any action or outside action is made against the country the whole world of countries will get affect.... I do not think any action would be in consideration before the super powers regarding Pakistan... however, any action or something matter of next comes we all nation will with our army and with the government.... we can give all sort of sacrifice for our country...

It is always in our hands. I am a core believer of that and if we make a decision on it as a unit it will have a positive impact.

The elite has lost touch with the commoners and thus this diddle daddle otherwise it would have been much easier.

Anyhow we have made known to Saudi Arabia and Iran what we consider as a red line and as far as Qatar is concerned this is an internal matter of the Arabs. We need not pick any side and will happily deal with the side which eventually comes out on top.

Turkey and pakistan are both major regional powers. If saudia ( GCC) tries to pull a similar move like qatar on pakistan or turkey. that will push both countries towards iran. Leaving the sauds a bit lonely. To be honest saudi will look a bit awkward sitting with USA and israel. Considering she considers herself leaders of islam . Egypt in my opinion is just following saudi like a gold digger

No need to pick a side. If Pakistan is asked that question then Pakistan should turn the question on them regarding India. And if Saudi Arabia signs a pact with Pakistan regarding India that no middle eastren allied nation would do any kind of business with India then sure we are on their side. If they want to be neutral in Pak India case then we should be too. It's not a rocket science. Only way it is possible is once Nawaz Sharif is out of picture. He owes to much to Saudi Arabia so he will never have guts to utter such words unfortunately.

In my humble opinion things are little like: Pakistan is currently in a state of calm. And as the Middle East drama is getting warmer, Pakistan is left with peace, apparently through non reactive USA and a friendlier Russia. Have you ever asked your self why? Because no body wants to spoil their game in middle east, as Pakistan is capable of doing a lot big dent on superpowers' game. Pakistan is currently enjoying a relatively peaceful times, but let the major portions of Middle East to become Israel. Then at one place Europe will attack Turkey and India will attack Pakistan. Before that may Bahrain or Jordan or may be Egypt.

GCC have no direct influence on Turkey. And indirectly we can deal with them easily.

I tend to disagree with you because Turkey have too many expats and trade interest in GCC and huge investment by turkish investors it would be difficult for turkey to ignore such demand in future.

Not in a 100 years. They need Pakistan's security force to protect them.
