Is Marriage Worth It For Women? The benefits go mostly to men.

Ok, two questions. How did you find this place and what interests you here?

Talking about this thread particularly or the forum? Just want to make sure, because my mind is not working properly today. :3

The forum.

Via Pakistan defense Facebook page. Although I am student of medicines, but I have huge interest in world affairs and politics. When I visited this forum to read an article, I found it quite decent forum. So I signed up. Kinda new on forum and trying to learn more about politics and international relations.

Nah' it's in favor of men for the most part. Wase Shay koi mazloom awam ban Rahe all the guys. :D
I can prove you factually.
In west, many news couples do not marry and then mostly both are working, and when they have kids and if they decide to part their ways, the girl is left on her own and the phenomena of single mothers is very common here....men enter their lives briefly and leave. Instinctively, men want freedom and multiple partners without the responsibility whenever possible. On other hand, biologically and instinctively, women seek and need long term commitment so that they have protection and security when they go through the pregnancy, child birth, and raising the kids. The marriage provide that recognition, legal status and the security to the women. Thus marriage is more important and beneficial for the women.

However, in our beautiful religion, there is no alternative for marriage. And women has been promised certain rights and securities like man has to provide for her needs; financially, emotionally, physically regardless of the circumstances.

Aur phir hamara, Pakistani girl....oh my God :) wo jo shohron ka hashar kartay hain....bechara dara dara sehma sehma sa rehta hai....biwi ke saath...nahi...usske peechay peechay :rofl:..... nokar ki tarha shopping bag uthay huay atay hain

But apart from the joke our Pakistani girls are the treasures and it is very difficult (if not impossible) to find such loyalty, love and sincerity. We must respect and treasure them.

For the first part I will not comment. For second part zarorat Kia hai Itna joru Ka ghulam hone Ki? Lol. Well I stand with guys in this sense, that girls should not dictate or overrule their husbands. Thora space or freedom Hona chiye. Yehi he Acha lagta hai when a guy has control in household and is one step ahead rather larki Agay Agay and the guy is following. I find it disrespectful. It's matter of opinion. BUT BUT BUT, a guy must I repeat MUST gives her respect, her rights, loyalty, sincerity, and his back. Never let his girl down. Baat Rahi shopping Ki to nothing wrong in carrying your wife's shopping bag not the handbag it looks weird in our culture. :D. I am not shopaholic kinda girl so can't say how it works. :p but again moderation is better Har time shopping Achy Nahi. I agree with this part.
Lastly, yes it is becoming hard to find a well mannered and loyal girl in this time period, but still you can find one. Larke to shoro Se he bigare hain, :p but it's hard to find loyal girls no doubt. Liken impossible Nahi as you said.

What is "joru"?
I'm thinking to make a robot for my future wife that does all she wants like carrying her shopping bags etc and I think that will be an instant success as most husband want one. The robot will have only hearing and will say "yes ma'am" only.
Of course our religion ( not so much in the culture though since we still have some elements from other cultures), says a lot about respecting the women and especially wife. As holy Prophet said, the best among you is who is best with his wife. So best means to be the best in every aspect.

Nonsense, marriage is mostly disastrous for men, and not for women. Especially these days.
In our culture yes because all financial responsibilities is on shoulder of men . Women and children depend on men for almost everything whether men is father or husband so here yes women gain most of it from marriage

What is "joru"?
.
Joru mean wife
Juru ka ghulam refer to submissive type of Husband:P
Husband is bad in boht cases whether he dominate women or be passive :D

Haha it's just a famous saying for a guy who say yes to everything his wife says. The word means "wife". In everything and is pretty scared of her. :D
Lol. Not a bad idea. Btw if you have so many issues, then don't get married. Simple! :p
Indeed Islam is the first religion which officially gave women rights. And the Hadith you quoted is very famous and it sums up all the responsibility and rights a man has to give to his wife. :)

:crazy_pilot:Just air dropping thread support :

Secondary question for when this one has run its course;
Is Fort Worth It For Women?

vfiles9043.jpg

Real question too as between 2014 and 2015, the percentage of women went down from 50.9 to 50.7% of locals!
Where have those 2 tenths of a percent gone? At 270k female pop. that's 540 women on the missing persons list!

:jester: Tay.

Simple Mantra,

If you are poor get married because you would be needing another person to cry with. You know "dukh batabna zindgi ke" and all.

If you are rich then why the hell do you need to get married for ????????
Didn't you hear the song
"Apni Azzadi ko hum hargiz mita sakte nahin ,
Karcha kar sakte hain lekin apna katwa sakte nahin"

Now its up to you

Well I think the word man means that he has to take the responsibility and Alhamdulillah I have achieved that independence and status through the effort that I can support my future family a decent and respectable living and this should be incumbent on all men who want to marry. Otherwise they are not men and are not ready to get married and should fast their life away until they become capable. For example, for me the concept of dowry prevalent in Pakistan is disgusting and the man who demands this from his wife is NOT a man and he still needs a feeder to grow up. And my ideal wife is who wants stay home, dressed in a beautiful dress and smells great.....not vegetables because she just came from her job to took a meal for me. She can do a job if she has some vocational/professional education but family must come first since I don't need her money and I can bear all her expenses even a few trips to Milano and Zurich. So my wife will get each and every amenity of life when she steps into my house since I already own them Alhamdulillah.

Thanks for describing the word "Joru"....That is really not acceptable...A man should be loving and caring but not like a servant but like a husband. In the end she has to listen her husband (if he fulfils the criteria) or we part the ways.
